The Client

The Nicholls Group is a clinical psychology practice whose team of psychologists and licensed healthcare professionals works with clients across the lifespan, from infants and children to adolescents and older adults. Its services range from psychoeducational and neuropsychological evaluations to individual, group and family therapy.

The Challenge

The practice needed a professional website that explained a wide range of specialist services in plain language, introduced its clinicians, and reduced the paperwork new patients had to complete on their first visit.

What We Built
  1. Service Pages: Dedicated pages for each service, including neuropsychological, academic and emotional/behavioral evaluations, autism spectrum disorder, memory screening and dementia evaluation, forensic evaluations, psychotherapy and counseling, and COGMED working-memory training.
  2. Professional Staff Profiles: A profile page for each clinician and the administrative team.
  3. Online Patient Forms: Web versions of the practice’s paperwork, including a multi-step intake form with client and financially responsible person details and an electronic signature, plus background history, treatment of a minor, exchange of records, teacher, and Medicare opt-out forms.
  4. Privacy Agreement: The practice’s HIPAA agreement published online for patients to review.
  5. FAQ, Groups and Resources: Pages answering common questions and listing therapy groups and helpful resources.
  6. Contact Details Everywhere: Office hours, phone and fax shown at the top of every page.

Design

A calm, professional look in deep red and grey, with clear typography and simple navigation suited to patients and referring professionals. The site was built on Bootstrap so it worked well on phones, tablets and desktops.

We built and maintained this site from 2016 to 2018. The practice has since moved to a new website, so the screenshot above comes from an archived copy.
